Yoga
I realized the other day that Yoga is far more than a trend similar to Tai Chi or the Thighmaster or Thai Bo. It’s been around a long time and we’ve both been doing it ( on and off ) for several years now. What I often find most interesting is the huge ranch of people that often participate. Janelle has a membership at the hot moksha yoga studio here in town and goes many times a week. On the occasion that I will join here I’m always shocked to see an age range from 8-68 of people with all kinds of different body types participating.
I’ve been going fairly regularly this year but I should commit to attending at least once or twice a week.
I work in a cubicle all day long and frankly am just so mentally exhausted when I get home it seems like I just blob around….while I’m destined to do at least a couple more years of this until it gets paid of I got to realize that more physical activity is an absolute requirement.
Janelle and I did the “couples yoga” at the Noorish studio here and both really enjoyed it, while it’s good to have a membership somewhere (especially since we can’t replicate the hot yoga temperatures of 35c+) it’s even more important to just get spend a few minutes each day stretching, and if it’s with a cutie you care about…all the better.
